Il Marchese

Centro Storico

A newcomer to sophisticated Via di Ripetta, this hybrid eatery and cocktail bar has a contemporary-chic interior and a menu featuring modern bistro dishes – think john dory rather than baccalà, beef cheek rather than bistecca and Caesar salad rather than caprese. However, the excellent pastas are resolutely Roman, featuring freshly made pasta and classic sauces. Excellent wine list, too.
