Il Vinaietto

Centro Storico

A relic of the city's once-vibrant leftist counterculture, this frills-free enoteca near Campo de'Fiori opened in the 1960s and was swiftly adopted by radical locals as their drinking den of choice. Plenty of political debates have been enjoyed here over the decades, and its tradition of playing rock on the sound system and pouring cheap (but good) wine continues to this day.

Opening hours can be erratic.
