The food is Abruzzese rustic-refined, featuring meat-heavy primi and secondi such as polenta con ragù di maialino (polenta with young pork stew) and agnello speziato al Trebbiano d’Abruzzo (spicy lamb cooked in Abruzzese white wine).
Don't be deceived by the name. The menu displays lots of beef, pork, wild boar, duck and lamb, but not so much gallo (chicken).
