Rifugio Cesare Battisti

Emilia-Romagna

The region's best mountain hut is located alongside one of Italy's great long-distance walking trails, the three-week, 375km-long Grande Escursione Appennenica (GEA). The 43 beds sit at 1765m and are up for grabs daily from mid-June to mid-September but only on weekends in winter and over Christmas holidays.
