Villa Vea

Salerno & the Cilento

Surrounded by olive trees and vines with distant pine-covered mountains, this superb agriturismo is run by an American-Italian family. Enjoy views of Capri while savouring delicious traditional food prepared by Angela, who also conducts cooking classes. The rooms are rustic with chunky furniture and bright walls. Dating from 1978, this was the first agriturismo to open in the area.

Homemade olive oil, wine and jam are on the menu and breakfasts are a cut above the standard cornetti (croissant), with cooked breakfasts available on request (a rarity in these parts).

The villa is right in the hear of the national park 2½ km east of the village of Bellosguardo.
