At this exquisite B&B, boasting panoramic views of Agropoli and the coast to the west, and rolling countryside to the east, you can sleep under wood beams in tasteful stone-walled bedrooms, decorated in earth colours and featuring five-star-quality bathrooms with mosaic marble tiles. The place is 7km southeast of Agropoli off SS267, near the village of Laureana Cilento.

The family menagerie includes goats and ducks. If you time your visit right, breakfast will include fresh figs from the pretty garden, complete with wisteria-draped arbour.
