Run by the Egidio family, this pasticceria (pastry shop) has a cake display backed by a large bakery where breads including integrale (whole-wheat) arrive steaming hot for picnic time. The cakes really are as good as they look: sfogliatelle filled with fresh ricotta, frollini (mini fruit and chocolate tarts) and the all-time favourite, crumbly amaretti (macaroons).
