It's not atmosphere that draws fans to humble ’O Sfizio, a bargain-priced takeaway by a traffic-ridden thoroughfare. It's the parmigiana di melanzana that's so good that many locals vote it above their own mothers' versions. ’O Sfizio's iteration is simply gorgeous, never oily or heavy yet generously laden with Parmigiano, mozzarella and slightly crisp aubergine.
This edible masterpiece aside, you'll also find solid classic Neapolitan contorni (sides), and both pizza al taglio (pizza by the slice) and generous takeaway panini (sandwiches). Year-round outdoor tables are available for a sit-down feed (covered in the cooler months).
