Buco Pertuso

Naples

The northern Italian tradition of aperitivo is slowly spreading to the south of Italy. Every evening inside the cavernous Buco Pertuso, trays of riso sartú and aubergine parmegiana are laid out while Neapolitans loiter on the cobbled narrow alleyway outside. On Wednesdays it's especially busy, as the young owners invite local musicians to play small ramshackle live music gigs.
