La Torre

Top choice in Massa Lubrense

Not quite in Massa, but almost, La Torre has its berth in Annuziata, an attractive little borgo on a hill overlooking the Gulf of Naples. Occupying a handsome old stone building next to a church, it specialises in ‘slow’ seafood such as amberjack grilled with Sorrento lemons or linguine with anchovies.

Eat al fresco on the terrace, then stroll down to the nearby belvedere for a rare wide-angle shot of Capri, Ischia, Procida, Naples and Vesuvius.
