Da Vittorio

Top choice in Bergamo

Bergamo's Vittorio is set in a country house 9km east of town and, with over 50 years and three Michelin stars under its belt, is up there with the best restaurants in Italy, thanks to the celebrated talents of Bergamo-born chef Enrico Cerea. Many of its creative dishes such as orrecchia di elefante and egg 'à la egg' have become legendary.

The multicourse decadence can easily stretch into three hours and will cost a fortune – but for gastronomes this highly acclaimed but super-friendly restaurant is the Holy Grail of Italian cucina. Few leave disappointed. Reservations essential.
