Bruciamonti

Genoa

The city has a huge number of rosticerria, delis serving prepared dishes that can be taken home or to a picnic, or heated up for you there and eaten at a simple table by the counter. Bruciamonti is the most venerable of these and you'll often be shouldered out by Genovese senora picking up dinner.

Staff can be, well, brusk, but their dishes are a delight.
