Founded in 1777 by a Swiss immigrant who was on to the potential of Trieste's free-port status, Bischoff is one of Trieste's – and the world's – longest-running shops. It can sell you a bottle of one of its 2500 Italian labels or you can do tastings and get advice on wine pairings, serving and storage.
