Wine lovers won't do better than this serious wine bar opposite Palazzo Pitti, run with passion and humour by charismatic trio Edoardo, Manuele and Zeno – don't be surprised if they share a glass with you over wine talk. Floor-to-ceiling shelves of expertly curated, small-production Tuscan and Italian wines fill the tiny bar, and casual dining is around a handful of marble-topped tables. Look forward to excellent cured meats and pasta fatta in casa (housemade).
Exceptional wine tastings include simple wine flights (three wines, €15 to €25) and lunch tastings (four wines with lunch, €35). Reservations are essential. The team has its own fully fledged restaurant, Osteria dell'Enoteca, nearby.
