There's no shortage of space at Reggio's main hostel, housed in a former convent. One- to seven-bed guest rooms line vast, echoing, vaguely institutional corridors. In summer, breakfast is served under the porticoes in the internal garden. The attached restaurant, Al Chiostro della Ghiara, serves reasonably priced meals.
