Get in early! This restaurant is highly regarded for its classic, regional cooking, not least its signature scaloppina al balsamico (cutlets in balsamic vinegar). You enter innocuously through the kitchen prep area where charismatic chefs are up to their elbows in floury pasta dough. The classical blue-hued decor is no frills – the star treatment is reserved entirely (and rightly) for the food.
