Dating back to 1931, this is the island’s most famous traditional trattoria and a long-time favourite on the celebrity circuit. Set up to look like a Hollywood version of a rustic resturant – pink tablecloths, pink roses, hanging copper pots and carved wooden chairs – it serves a classic island menu of comfort food. Reservations are recommended.
Popular dishes include high-quality seafood pasta, ravioli caprese (ravioli stuffed with ricotta and herbs), grilled meat and fresh fish, as well as the speciality, linguine al sugo di scorfano (flat ribbons of pasta with scorpion fish).
