Nardini

The Veneto

Established in 1779, Nardini is the world’s oldest grappa producer and one of Italy’s oldest companies. Its original grapperia bar flanks the 16th-century Ponte degli Alpini, having survived the WWII bombing that destroyed the wooden bridge. Kick back here with a glass of bittersweet mezzo e mezzo, a unique aperitivo made with Rabarbaro Nardini, Rosso Nardini, Cynar and soda water.

Then follow the locals' lead and order a crocchantino (caramelised peanut bar), and make a restroom stop downstairs for a unique view of Palladio's famous wooden bridge.
