Pasta is highly recommended at this popular sassi osteria, perhaps cavatellini ceci e vongole (little hand-made pasta curls with chickpeas and clams) or paccheri alla murgiana (little tubes with cardoncelli mushrooms, rocket and fennel sausage). Secondi tend towards the meaty, as epitomised by the house stew of lamb, pork sausage and mushrooms.
