Villa Eva is all about the garden, which is lush and immense. This is about as bucolic as it gets in Capri. The 10-room villa is fairly self-contained, with a swimming pool, a snack bar, and sunny rooms and apartments. Whitewashed domes, terracotta floors, stained-glass windows and vintage fireplaces add character, while the location ensures peace and quiet.
The only drawback is that it’s tricky to get to: take the Grotta Azzurra bus from Anacapri and ask the driver where to get off, or cough up for a taxi. You may have to walk the last stretch.
The apartments are good for families.
