La Bottega del 40

Pescara

A small abode encased under a stone archway in Pescara’s diminutive old town where the primi prices rarely break double figures. This is a good place for a light economical dinner served veloce (fast) with a basket of bread and a glass of the house plonk. There aren’t many tables, but the turnover is fast.

The gnocchi with sausages and saffron is simple but sublime. Cash only.
