Delicatessen

Tel Aviv

Occupying two floors of a quintessentially white-plastered Tel Aviv apartment building, this chic eatery offers an opportunity to dine al fresco on one of the city’s sweeping Bauhaus-style terraces. The ground floor has self-serve cafe fare and enticing take-home delicatessen nibbles that are fit for a picnic on nearby Rothschild Blvd: olives, fresh bread loaves, local cheeses and Mediterranean pasta salads.

Upstairs, the restaurant’s ever-changing eclectic menu might feature anything from Hungarian goulash to Moroccan pastilla (a traditional meat pie encased in flaky dough).
