Savta

Tel Aviv

Just south of Rabin Sq, this cheery, chequerboard-floored kiosk slings hearty sub-style sandwiches with quality ingredients. Hip, friendly workers craft the deliciously straightforward creations with a care that’d surely make savta ('grandmother' in Hebrew) proud. It's veggie friendly, but carnivores shouldn't miss the Sleazy, which features grilled salami, pastrami and lamb bacon paired with gooey Gouda and caramelised onions.
