Founded to help bring cultural life back to the Old City, this cafe hosts exhibitions by Palestinian artists, most of them from the Galilee, and several free cultural events every week. A vegetarian plat du jour, cooked by local women, is available at lunchtime; beverages include Palestinian wines and two West Bank beers, Taybeh and Shepherd's.
Also serves as an information centre for tourists.
