Fenelly's

Counties Wexford, Waterford, Carlow & Kilkenny

In a former pub and undertakers, Fenelly's is revitalising the quaint little village of Callan with local art exhibitions, film screenings, storytelling, theatre, workshops and Saturday morning trad-music sessions. The biggest draws, though, are its sensational Cork-roasted coffee and cooking at both breakfast (eg Turkish eggs with feta and chorizo) and lunch (such as vegetarian Massaman curry with basmati rice).

It's 9km west of Kells.
