By the castle wall, Spinners is part of a complex spanning five restored Georgian houses. The whitewashed wine-cocktail bar is the perfect place for a cheeseboard or burger with black pudding and homemade relish, while the elegant restaurant's seasonal menu might feature Burren Smokehouse mackerel and potato salad followed by baked brill with red lentil broth. Service is excellent.
Tables set up in the tree-shaded enclosed courtyard in fine weather; occasional live music plays in the bar.
