Renowned cheesemongers Sheridans, with shops in Dublin and Galway, has its warehouses and HQ here in County Meath. A former train station now houses a cavernous barn-style shop crammed with cheeses from across Europe; Irish varieties include Cashel Blue, Durrus, Gubbeen and smoked Knockanore. It also sells chutneys, crackers, freshly baked bread, charcuterie, smoked fish, wines and its own cookbooks.
A small market showcasing local farmers and other producers sets up on Saturdays.
