White House

Limerick City

A 200-year-old classic right in the city centre, this corner pub is Limerick's oldest bar and, despite recent renovations, retains a traditional ambience.

The White House famously led a rebirth of local poetry through readings and open-mic evenings (www.facebook.com/whitehouselimerickpoetry), but following a change of management the group now meets in Brendan O'Brien's bar at 45 Roches St.
