Perched high on a hill, Dooey Hostel is entered via a corridor carved out of a plant-strewn rock face. Facilities are rustic, but clean and comfortable, and the campsite's a beauty. If driving, turn left just after Glenhead Tavern and continue for 1.5km; walkers can hike up a path behind the folk village. Cash only.
There are astonishing views of the ocean below from the living room and bedrooms.
