Kilgraney Country House

Counties Wexford, Waterford, Carlow & Kilkenny

The River Barrow flows gently through the valley below this lovely Georgian manor. The owners have created a fabulous interior, decorated using items collected from their travels to places such as the Philippines. There's a spa, herb gardens, and a restaurant serving a six-course menu (€50; Friday and Saturday evenings only). It's off the R705 halfway between Borris and Bagenalstown.

Cottages sleep up to six people, and come with full kitchens. Suites, also with kitchens, sleep three.
