Shabhaye Talai – Golden Nights Beach Restaurant

Qeshm Island

No language barrier at this quirky venture: it's run by Annelie, from Germany, and her husband, Ali Reza, who both speak fluent English and go to great lengths to help travellers. They've set up four rooms in two trailers behind their renowned restaurant. Rooms feel a tad boxy but are exceedingly neat and fit the bill if you're counting your rials.

There are plans to build cottages too. Annelie runs reputable tours and day trips around the island.
