Mrs Fattahi’s House

Top choice in Qeshm Island

This pleasing homestay is in Shibderaz village, a short stroll from the beach where turtles lay their eggs between April and July. Bedding is laid out in the lounge room in the evening, and the shared shower and squat toilet off the entrance hall get all the proper scrubbing. For more privacy, choose the room with private facilities in the courtyard.

The owner, Leila Fattahi, will happily arrange for you to watch local women making handicrafts or have them give you a Bandari henna tattoo. Various tours around the island can also be organised, as well as transfers to/from the jetty in Qeshm Town.
