Martabak Har Sudirman

Sumatra

A change-up from your typical Indonesia cuisine is this local institution famous for its martabak (fried roti stuffed with egg). Opened by an Indian owner in 1947, this Palembang street-food classic (with a choice of chicken or duck eggs) has a distinct South Asia twist, served with a brown potato curry and bowl of fresh green chilli.

There are a few branches across town, but this is the original.
