You'll see cooks preparing fried and steamed Chinese pork dumplings out the front of this ramshackle but highly popular little place in Glodok, dating back to 1968. Don't be put off by appearances – it's very basic but they really know what they're doing here. The fried pork dumplings are on point: perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.
Dip them in the house-made sauce – made using 10 spices. The bakso ikan isi (fish balls) are also good and there's a range of noodle, rice and vegetable dishes along with cold beer.
