Gone Fishing has seven high-quality rooms in three inventively designed cottages (each with communal lounge) and is remarkable for using recycled wood and even old whiskey bottles as part of the construction materials.
Staff are highly obliging and the owners are evident artists. The location is tucked away 700m off the main Tirthan Valley road (turn at Km4 and cross the Deori bridge), in a tiny hamlet near a gushing stream.
