Ajit Bhawan

Jodhpur

Ajit Bhawan is set back from dusty Circuit House Rd, 2km southeast of the centre, in splendid gardens. Behind the gracious 1920s building, built for Maharaja Dhiraj Ajit Singh (younger brother of Maharaja Umaid Singh), the accommodation is a series of comfortable thatched stone cottages with traditional furnishings. There’s a sensational swimming pool and a restaurant with Rajasthani folk music.
