Mandir Palace Hotel

Jaisalmer’s erstwhile royal family still lives in this sprawling 18th-century palace just inside the town walls. Named for its many mandirs (temples), it has exquisite stone latticework, a museum, and one of its towers, Badal Vilas, is Jaisalmer’s highest building outside the fort. Rooms are full of character, with antique furnishings, the pool is sparkling and the rooftop restaurant enchanting.
