Village-like Ranwar along Chapel Rd leads to Bandra's first noteworthy hostel, which occupies the top floor of a pre-Partition bungalow. Six six-bed dorms feature Australian-pine dorm beds, lockers, air-con and private baths, one of which is female-only. But it's the airy, spacious rooftop and kitchen (induction stovetops!) where you'll want to hang out. Coffee and tea are made to order.
