Since 1949, this epic sweet shop has been satiating Ujjaini sugar cravings. There’s no English sign or menu, but staff can steer you in the right direction. One speciality is their milk cake, another the caju barfi (a fudge-like cashew sweet; ₹940 per kilogram). They also do thirst-quenching freshly squeezed juices, such as pomegranate and pineapple.
Upstairs, there’s a great savoury menu from 11am that includes creative South Indian (green chutney masala dosa) and Chinese. It’s just to the right of Baker’s Lounge.
