Jharokha Restaurant

Orchha

Good food and friendly waiters, in the elegant pillared hall of a former royal guesthouse, are a cut above what you'd normally expect from a government-run hotel. Indian, Chinese and Continental dishes are on offer, but it's the Indian dishes (especially tandoori items) that are recommended.

They can usually supply beer or whisky, too, but if you want something gentler, then just come for afternoon tea.
