A bit different to most other options, this terracotta-roofed, blue-and-white tiled building with shady verandahs is hidden away on the fringe of a small, leafy village some 6km from the Khatia gate, and has something of an Andalucian farmhouse feel to it. The rooms and common areas are stuffed with antiques and artworks, and there's a good pool.
Delicious meals are served and the in-house naturalists are real birding experts; local bird walks are also included in the rates.
