It's hard to top this intimate safari camp for bush-chic luxury. The setting, beside a swampy lake surrounded by forest, is perfect and the six well-spaced safari tents have solid, wooden beds and inviting bathrooms. The main, terracotta-roofed dining room has an open fire for winter nights and meals are hosted by a team of naturalists and natural raconteurs.
The camp is daringly unfenced, which means deer, wild boar and, occasionally, more toothy creatures stroll through camp at night. Excellent safari vehicles with an in-house naturalist accompanying all guests. All up, this is the camp of choice for the safari aficionado.
