This award-winning, luxury homestay, the beautiful, spacious home of a couple who are experts in wildlife and travel, makes a great base for the park's southern sector. It's 7km southeast of Mukki gate, right on the edge of the core zone. Going from Mukki gate, turn left at the cycle-repair shop, 2.8km after Chitvan Resort. They can organise taxi pick-ups from Jabalpur or Raipur (around ₹5000), Gondia train station (₹3500), Nagpur (₹7000) or Khatia (₹2000).
