Great-value, spacious, primrose-coloured cottages, 700m off the main road in Khatia, are bright, airy and decorated with dry branches and tiger images and set around a pleasant, albeit slightly overgrown, garden. It’s a well-oiled, family-run operation. Rahul, the owner/manager, is very knowledgeable and nails five-star service for three-star prices (in addition to being resident naturalist and artist).
From breakfast on up, the food is outstanding – they even use milk from their own two Holsteins. Wi-fi throughout.
