Vijay Chat House

Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh

Indori Khopra patties (street-food snack consisting of a spiced potato stuffed with coconut and dried fruit) are a local speciality of Indore and nowhere does it better than this legendary spot that's been in business for decades. Little more than a glorified street stall, there will invariably be a queue of people waiting to get their hands on one.

Do the right thing and dip your patty into the tamarind chutney they serve with it. There are many other quality street-food joints and simple restaurants along this street.
