Hard to find, despite numerous signs, this three-roomed guesthouse is 10 minutes' steep walk down from Likir Gompa, or a longer drive via a dirt access road. The main attraction other than the peaceful location, good-value rooms and tiled shared bathroom is that the owner, Stanzin, is an English-speaking trekking guide who offers some interesting alternative hiking routes.
Before descending to the guesthouse, check if Stanzin's at the Gompa restaurant, where he often awaits arriving guests.
