Hotel Moonland

Ladakh

Set in a pretty garden at the first hairpin bend, 400m beyond the bus stop, Moonland's old building rooms have seen better days but the garden and restaurant have postcard-perfect views towards the monastery (beer ₹200). Much better rooms are available in the piney new 28-room annexe behind the old hotel, where the very comfortable rooms come with modern bathrooms and balcony views.
