Bracknell Forest

Almost entirely surrounded by deep forest, 8km south of Munnar, the 10 comfy, well-kept rooms at this tucked-away guesthouse have balconies and views of a lush valley and cardamom plantation (but may feel a little too remote for some). There's an intimate restaurant (dinner ₹500) with wraparound panoramas, and transfers from Munnar cost ₹400 (call ahead for directions).
