Aranyaka

Aranyaka's sweet, peach-hued contemporary cottages (most sleeping up to four people) are dotted across a peaceful landscaped garden, drinking in fine views over waterfalls, the Muthirupuzha River and Pallivasal Tea Estate, one of Tata's largest tea holdings. Fresher (and pricier) though less-charming rooms fill a whitewashed building behind. The valley setting feels secluded, but you're only 6km southwest from Munnar.
