Fishmongers

Kochi (Cochin)

On the footpath behind the Chinese fishing nets are several fishmongers, from whom you can buy fish, prawns, scampi or lobster, then take your selection to one of the nearby outdoor restaurants along Tower Rd where it will be cooked and served to you for an extra fee. A fillet of kingfish is around ₹400 and 1kg of prawns is ₹1000.
